Hi all,
I will be organising our next walk for 2014 as Shirley will be away.
It will be on SUNDAY, 31Th August at Binna Burra in The Lamington National Park.
Meet at 9.15 am at the "Information Centre" on the Binna Burra Road, situated immediately on the right, before the drive up the mountain to the Binna Burra Lodge and Kiosk area.
We will leave at 9.30 am for a combination of The Lower Bellbird Circuit (recently reopened after storm damage) and returning to the Information Centre via The Caves Circuit.
The walk is approximately 13.6 km return, and will take about four and a half hours of easy walking.
We will have morning tea and lunch on the track and can drive up to the Kiosk for coffee afterwards.
Bring the usual, morning tea, lunch, water, sunscreen, hat, jacket, insect repellent etc.
It would be appreciated if you would advise me if you plan to attend and whether you wish to car pool.
