```26 March 2012   Kangaroo island our usual arrival time at camp susnset .I found a nice spot at Wheatons beach  D estree bay it isn t a designated camp site so Josie is all worried and nervous .Im settled in with my beer and chips over looking the ocean no worries here .

27 March 2012  Walked on Wheatons beach and found a seal sleeping on a bed of sea weed  took some photos seal got grumpy if I got too close .Thought seal might make a good partner for Josie  .. Josie wasn’t amused no sense of humour seal feeling rejected went back to sleep like a male he deals with rejection  easily where used to it .Went to seal bay visitors centre read about seals $58 for guided seal tour we just saw one for free .Lunch at Bale beach .Walk around Vivonne bay  and Harriet river bit windy today the weather not me got Josie to piggy back me across some shallow water training is going  well ..Flinders chase national park and the Remarkable rocks for some silly photos  . Not far from there Weirs cove and house where they brought all their supplies for three months up a steep cliff .Cape de Coudic lighthouse and Admirals arch where there were lots of seals that  smelt like wee . Camp tonight at West bay got in about 8 45 and we are greeted by possums the biggest fattest one you can pat  . Walked Josie to toilets  she nagged me to do it Just don’t comment on that it still haunts me anyway while we were gone fat boy possum climbs into the back of the car and is sitting there like budda eating a loaf of bread so I grabbed him by the fur and he did a flying exit into the bush with the bread still in his claws . Apparently he ate the rest of the chocolate broke the kettle and misplaced everything Josie is really cranky at him .

28 March 2012         Flinders chase visitor centre and we go on platypus lagoon walk  ,we only see cape barren geese and a couple of koala s. Western river cove and we go for a swim and snorkel around rocks .Man comes down for a swim and strips of naked at opposite end of beach Josie see s this as a competition and quickly undresses and hauls out the big guns .Man realising he is no match for such artillery promptly dresses and leaves beach . Josie was feeling quite proud of herself  he was no match for our Josie .

29 march 2012  Stayed overnight at Western river cove and we have mice running around us getting into our rubbish .In the morning one last swim and snorkel . Josie empties car and repacks because she found some mice poo .Im going nuts here why why  why do women do this I want to start drinking but Josie refuses to drive on dirt roads .Walked Snake lagoon and im hoping there will be thousands of snakes the lethal variety  not one whimps .Lunch at Snake lagoon and I still  want a drink .Off to Snelling beach for a walk .Stokes bay and first impression was all right beach is covered in rocks . But you walk through rocks lnto a cave that leads you out to a beautiful beach with a natural rock pool .We swam and snorkelled here for half a day.

30 March       Camped at Emu bay another great meal by Josie where she used every dish we have and I washed up beer and chips is so much easier . Drove to Cliffords honey farm for some honey tasting and ice cream .In to Kingscote for lunch  and Josie has stepped in poo it stinks .I said to her to throw her thongs out the car and she can have mine until we can buy new ones . But she insists she can clean them .Its Poo you cant clean them you have to throw them away Josie won and kept them disgusting  they had poo on them you cant erase that knowledge. Drove in to Penneshaw for camp and travel back to Cape Jervis SA  in morning .
